What is Scrip?

Scrip is a year round fundraiser for our school. We have two types of scrip at Soquel Elementary, the first is in the form of gift cards and the other is Escrip.

Gift Cards and How They Work

We purchase gift cards from various merchants at a percentage off depending on the merchant. For example Macy’s gives us 10% of the sale from their gift cards. So when someone buys a Macy’s gift card through H&SC for $25 the school makes $2.50. There is no extra cost to you. Many people choose to purchase scrip gift cards for their every day shopping or to give as gifts.

Where do I get Scrip Gift Cards?

Every month a scrip order form will come home with your student for you to fill out and return. You can also find a selection of gift cards for purchase, as well as extra order forms, in the main office.

What is EScrip?

Soquel Elementary earns a percentage of every grocery card registered through Safeway, Nob Hill, and New Leaf. Also if you register your ATM/Debit or credit cards we earn a percentage when you use them at participating scrip businesses.
To register go to www.escrip.com and enter our Group ID#: … and click on “sign up.” While you are there, go to the online mall and shop! Note: some cards have to be re-enrolled yearly, so put a reminder on your calendar.
